Well the rain and bad weather did not put people off attending at the Challengers Fun Day at Natty lane yesterday, 24/08/2013.

Fun was had by all with bouncy castles, bucking bronco, cream teas, BBQ and lots lots more.

The event was sponsored by Halifax Elim Church and Charity First.

TAP was on hand with family fun, dancing and competitions.

Thanks to everyone that attended and supported the event.

Halifax Charity Gala 2013

It’s here!

Time once again for one of  Calderdale’s largest outdoor events. This year’s gala promises to be one of the best. Not least because the weather has decided to shine over the Manor Heath venue. There’s lots going on throughout the day, so come along and support all of the local charities taking part.

The fun starts in the town centre with the procession floats. They’ll be setting off from Eureeka car-park at 12.30pm and will make their way to the Manor Heath park site.

TAP will be providing music, P.A and entertainment throughout the event, as well as selling helium balloons at a very reasonable price to raise money for our charity, so please be generous 🙂 Not forgetting our ‘famous’ dance competitions. We have some fantastic prizes for the kids, so get them along to the main arena for some fun activities!

Hope to see you all there!!

The event is held each year and aims to promote the amazing work that our Emergencey Services personnel undertake and to hopefully show the more human side of the people behind the uniforms.

We provided the music and loud talking and the crowd brought the smiles and sunshine with them.
It was great to see so many families attend and they all seemed to really enjoy themselves!

TAP, boots n all

The TAP crew took to the pitch today in Holmfield, Halifax. We were asked to provide music and P.A for a televised Rugby League match between The Saint Catherine Trinity Hawks and North Halifax Grammar School.

We were fortunate to get our picture taken with Wigan and England International Sam Tomkins who is transferring his inspirational form from the pitch to the classroom in ‘Sam’s Team’, a show that aims to re-engage pupils in education through sport.
