Total Awareness Promotions TAP Events is a charity and non-profit organisation based in Calderdale, Halifax, West Yorkshire, servicing events such as Halifax Gala, Fundays and other Local Events
The Christmas Light switch on will take place in the Piece Hall from 1pm on Saturday 30 November.
There will be a full programme of entertainment on the stage from 1pm – 4.30pm, including local dance schools, the Square Chapel Cube choir, TAP, local group Psychoslinkys and street entertainers in the courtyard. Musical offerings around the town centre throughout the day at entertainment in Woolshops and a Christmas scarecrow trail around the town centre shops.
Father Christmas will be travelling around the town centre on an open top bus and will come into the Piece Hall to switch on the Christmas lights with the cast of Dick Whittington at 4.30pm. Followed by a grand finale firework display off the roof of the Orangebox.
